Kaveri Fashions, Jaipur is now focusing more on value-added products which currently accounts for 15 per cent business to the company. Harish T. Punjabi, Director, Kaveri Fashions talking to Apparel Online said, “We were doing basics since 1994 and recently felt a saturation point.
Therefore, we decided to concentrate on the value addition segment. We are outsourcing value additions like sequin, beadwork and hand embroidery from nearby places of Jaipur.
The response to our products has been very positive and now we are getting repeat orders for these value-added dresses and skirts.”
The company, having major exports in USA and Gulf, has added two new buyers also, one from UK and another from Switzerland. Kaveri Fashions with 125 sewing machines has turnover of one million USD.
