Newly inaugurated textile testing laboratory by TÜV SÜD in Tirupur has been certified with ISO/IEC 17025:2 by the the National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL).
ISO/IEC 17025:2005 specifies the general requirements for TÜV SÜD to undertake tests, including sampling. It includes testing and calibration performed using standard methods, non-standard methods, and laboratory-developed methods.
This accreditation will help the laboratory with improved customer trust, and reduce time to market by delivering faster test results. Also, now the lab will be able to perform tests such as Banned Amines, Chlorinated organic careers, Phthalates, Organotin compounds, Formaldehyed-PVC, PH-ODOR, APEO’s, Nickel Spot & Nickel Release, Carcinogenic Dyes, Disperse Dyes, Extractable heavy metals, Chlorinated phenols.

The newly expanded testing facility provides all type of textile and knitwear testing requirements. It caters to the need of both domestic and international market with the the addition of enhanced chemical testing capabilities to its already existing world class physical and mechanical facility. It also provides some value added services like sampling pick-up, technical support and training support.
