In order to empower India’s cultural entrepreneurs and revitalise rare crafts, Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Ltd (ABFRL) has partnered with the Network of Indian Cultural Enterprises (NICEorg) on a nationwide accelerator program.
ABFRL and NICE will use this project to find cultural businesses in the fashion and home décor industries that specialise in unique, dwindling crafts.
Training in marketing, design, supply chain, finance, and entrepreneurship will be given to the chosen business owners.
Dr. Naresh Tyagi, Chief Sustainability Officer at ABFRL, said the partnership with NICEorg goes beyond a program, it’s a movement to honor India’s craft heritage by creating sustainable business models. The goal is to scale artisan-led brands, support rural livelihoods, and blend traditional skills with modern fashion.
Kanchana KV, CEO of NICEorg, said the partnership aims to create sustainable growth opportunities for craft entrepreneurs by merging ABFRL’s industry reach with NICEorg’s cultural brand expertise, helping preserve heritage skills and drive social impact through enterprise.
The ABFRL and Niceorg websites are accepting applications for the program.
