In Ahmedabad, police have found a 35-year-old woman’s body in a garment factory. The body was found hidden in a moulded polythene water tank kept on the third floor of the factory.
According to the police, the terrace on which the body was found was that of the garment factory, which was not operational round the clock. Police have questioned the staff of the factory and have not ruled out the hand of an insider.
A police official said, “It is possible that the woman was killed after all the workers had left. The police have zeroed in on three-four persons.
When informed about the body in the water tank, police rushed there and the woman’s body was taken out with the help of fire brigade personnel who used tree-cutting blades to cut the tank. “While the tank was being cut, utmost care was taken to ensure that the body did not receive any injury or mark,” said a police official.
