Indian home furnishing industry is still witnessing mix market conditions, despite that few companies are expanding and Delhi based Swift Corporation is one of them. Having a current capacity of 5,000 pieces per month of cushion covers, throws, table linen, table mats, bed linen etc., from a factory in Manesar, the company is going to start another factory soon, which will double the capacity. “We try to cater to every product need of the buyer and who can get embroidery, patchwork, printing, stitching, anything from us. As of now we are using 100 per cent cotton, velvet, felt mainly in our products,” informs Simran, MD of the company.
Though the company is relatively young, being just four years old, but Simran has a lot of experience of international market through another sister company, Renaissance, which is offering wooden handicraft from the last 15 years. Swift Corporation has a good client base in Europe and its average FOB is from US $ 2.5 to US $ 11.
