India’s renowned fashion designer Suneet Varma is all geared up to showcase his latest women’s couture collection digitally for the very first time at the Fashion Design Council of India’s (FDCI) first ever digital edition of the India Couture Week 2020 (ICW).
Suneet will present his collection on the first day of the fashion event. His designs will be presented with a video showcase.
Jewellery by the popular designer Archana Aggarwal will also be part of the showcase.
Expressing his joy on the upcoming show, Suneet shared on his Facebook page that the collection “is about finesse, it is about fine detailing.”
Further, he underlined how the forthcoming digital show has doubled the pressure of giving his best, as unlike in a ramp show which ‘is for an immediate moment’, for a digital show, one has to strategise differently to ‘make it simply perfect’.
FDCI has partnered with Hindustan Times for ICW 2020, scheduled to take place from 18 to 23 September.
The 6-day extravaganza – which will feature various other prominent designers including Anju Modi, Manish Malhotra, Gaurav Gupta, JJ Valaya and Dolly J amongst others – will be streamed on FDCI’s digital platforms including YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and the organisation’s official website.
