Endorsing the importance of appropriate and timely lubrication for improved machine uptime, productivity and quality, A.T.E., a one-window solutions provider across the entire textile value chain – from ginning to garmenting – and linked with about 70 manufacturers worldwide, recently conducted a specialized training on lubrication for textile processing units at Alok Industries, Vapi, covering Monforts stenters, shrinking ranges, pad dry machines, E-control machine, MXL machines and Osthoff singeing machines for engineering, production and shop-floor teams. The first of many such training programs to come, the program highlighted the varying lubrication requirements from machine to machine and at various production stages. Moreover, individual friction points on machines may require different types of lubricants which would depend on the load, speed and the exposure of the bearings, chain and gear wheel vibrations.
The training covered both classroom and on the job training. “We found the training program intense and applicable for our process machines. We hope the session will achieve its purpose and help us in our machine maintenance and reduce wear & tear of the bearings,” said Vivek Tripathi, HR, Alok industries.
