The Italian pioneer is also the inventor of the automatic template stitching system, which is called the Autojig. Being among the top players in the apparel industry present at JIAM, AMF Reece will be presenting its latest version of the electronic button stitching and wrapping machine together with the high speed electronic chainstitch imitation sleeve buttonhole machine.
The electronically controlled button sewing and wrapping machine, EBS Mark II has been developed hand-in-hand with high-end Italian suit manufacturers. This unique machine duplicates the quality of hand sewn buttons by using patented AMF Reece floating needle technology. It performs a neatly sewn button that stands away from the jacket front with a tightly wrapped shank and no unsightly thread showing on the underside of the garment. All sewing parameters are simply set on the touch screen display including the electronically controlled thread tension, neck height, stitch depth, different sewing speeds for individual sewing phases, etc. The machine can handle wide range of buttons ranging from shank buttons to 2, 3, 4-hole sew-through buttons.
