
Taiwanese sewing machine company, Siruba, established in 1965 claims to have grown by 60% in the 1st quarter this year compared to last year. At the fair also, the company sold many machines and also got good number of enquiries for follow up.
The company displayed its overlock machine 700K series, with direct drive which saves on power, has no oil leakage problem because of the sealed needle bar. The machine is equipped with oil filter pump for filtering the oil from impurities and has a high illumination device to ease up the threading process and for better stitch visibility. “The machine saves 35% energy,” says Anil Srivastava, Marketing Manager, Siruba Machinery India. He adds, “We have already sold 15-20 machines to Rosy Fashions, Ludhiana. Flat lock and bottom hemming machine with fabric trimmer were also successfully sold bringing the total number of sold machines to 28. Among our customers are Lovely Garment and ABC Fashions, Ludhiana.”
Siruba also upgraded the design of its lockstitch machine L818F. The new version of the machine L918M1 has the panel outside the machine which makes it comfortable to user for better operatability. The machine is equipped with automatic thread trimmer and has large arm and bed space providing larger space for easier cloth handling.
Apart from overlock and lockstitch machines, the companies also displayed buttonholing and interlock machines. “We are seeing a lot of potential in the Ludhiana market. We plan to have a joint venture with a Japanese company to supply quality spare parts,” concludes Kevin Pan, Director, Siruba.
