Xi’an Typical is synonymous with intensive R&D and innovation for the sewing floor. Living up to its reputation, the Chinese sewing machine specialist recently launched a fully automatic overlock machine GN7000 in the Bangladeshi garment market.
Setting new benchmarks for the phrase ‘fully automatic’, GN7000 has been built in a way so that it does not require feed from the operator’s foot. Instead, the needlepoint is guided by a sensor for detecting the fabric plies. Thereafter, sewing is done based on the programmed stitch length and SPI, deskilling the operation and reducing the material handling.
The machine comes with an exclusive backward thread trimmer function to help save 8,000 m thread per machine per year. The machine comes with an intelligent error alert, ie ,when there is an error, a red light and an error code will reflect in the panel of the machine, making it easier for the technician to repair. Apart from this, the machine comes with a new control system and mini-servo motor that consumes less power and is easily adjustable.
Typical received positive response for its GN3000D series of high-speed direct-drive overlock sewing machines. The overlock machine comes in four major variants, with 3, 4, 5 and 6 thread capabilities, and a maximum speed of 7,000 SPM. Equipped with an energy-saving direct-drive servo motor, the machine is suitable for all kinds of apparels from jacket, shirts and trousers to knitted T-shirts and lingerie items. Due to its compact design and seamless body structure, the overlock machine ensures zero incidents of oil spills.
The company has been present in the market for over a decade and has a customer base that includes names like Al-Muslim Group, Experience Clothing, ABA Group, Tarasima Apparels, Ananta Garments, Sparrow Apparels and Behind Apparels.
Typical has built up the market in close collaboration with its sole agent South East Exim Ltd. “A strong base of local technicians and service personnel has been built by Typical in Bangladesh, and Chinese technicians keep visiting the country for training their local counterparts,” informed Mohd Shahjahan, Director, South East Exim.
