Dopplr, an AI-driven virtual try-on platform for online apparel brands, has secured US $ 750,000 in funding. The round was led by Cornerstone Ventures, with additional participation from U.S.-based BAT VC.
The startup will use the newly raised capital to broaden its product range, focusing on expanding into lifestyle, sportswear, and innerwear categories.
“Dopplr assists clothing brands by enhancing their digital marketing ROI through exploiting website traffic value and reducing return-related operational costs, which drives profitable growth. We’re excited to partner with Cornerstone Ventures and plan to use the investment to advance our technology and expand our operations,” stated Agarwal.
A key feature of Dopplr’s technology is its ability to gather and analyse customer behavior data. This insight helps brands make informed decisions and personalise the shopping experience to meet individual customer preferences.
“We’re thrilled by Dopplr’s AI-powered 3D mesh technology that creates a digital twin experience. This platform has the potential to grow beyond virtual try-ons, offering metaverse experiences, enabling physical-digital interoperability, and paving the way for Web3.0 solutions in digital commerce,” said Nanika Kakkar, partner at Cornerstone Ventures.
Established in 2020 by Sresht Agarwal, Shubham Singh, and Vishal Daga, Dopplr has emerged as a leader in pioneering virtual try-on technology. The startup’s platform enables online apparel brands to offer a genuine 3D fitting experience. Customers can create digital copies of themselves to see how clothes will fit and look on their own bodies.
