Leading textile company Sportking India Limited has recorded a 61.32 per cent growth in its net profit to US $ 2.97 million for the second quarter of 2024. The sales for the company in the current quarter rose by 3.71 per cent to US $ 77.47 million against the previous quarter ended September 2023 with US $ 74.7 million.
Sportking chairman and managing director Munish Avasthi said that the quarter’s results have made it evident that the brand was successful in overcoming the domestic market’s challenges. He added that overcoming the temporary export challenges of the market enabled them to achieve overall revenue growth compared to both last year and the previous quarter.
The chairman further added that the brand expects the upcoming quarter to witness another rise due to domestic demand fuelled by festivities and the wedding season.
