The 36th edition of the Garment Technology Expo (GTE) is scheduled to take place from 20th-22nd September 2024 in Bengaluru. This event will feature a comprehensive range of products and services related to garment manufacturing.
Covering all segments of the industry, the expo will present the latest apparel technology, spare parts, infrastructure solutions, raw materials, trimmings, logistics, and packaging systems. It serves as a one-stop sourcing platform for apparel manufacturers seeking world-class products and innovations.
This year’s edition will include a new feature—the Garment Accessories and Trimmings (GAT) Zone—dedicated to trims and embellishments for garment manufacturing. The expo is widely regarded as a premier platform for launching new technologies, materials, and services within India’s garment and knitting sectors.
According to Ricky Sahni, Joint Managing Director, over 200 brands and companies from around the globe will participate in the event. The expo provides a balanced mix of participants across the garment technology spectrum, including a special focus on fabrics, accessories, and trimmings.
Ambrish Chopra, Director, adds that the timing is ideal as the industry regains momentum. Companies from neighbouring states like Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Telangana, and Andhra Pradesh are also expected to participate. Supported by garment exporters’ associations and endorsed by the Ministry of MSME, the event will host over 350 brands across two halls, offering live technology demonstrations and valuable sourcing opportunities.
