E-commerce platform Snapdeal has onboarded about 1,200 retail brands in the last 3 months, in an attempt to expand its lifestyle portfolio, the company announced in a press release on Monday.
According to the press release, the e-commerce platform now features brands like Carlton London, Sparx, Campus, Jockey, Rosaline by Zivame, Varanga, House of Ramraj Cotton, John Players, Clovia, Red Tape, and Carlton London. According to the statement, the e-tailer hopes to add 800 more companies in the following two months.
“Our vision is to establish Snapdeal as the go-to destination for a value-centric lifestyle,” said Himanshu Chakrawarti, CEO, Snapdeal.
About 95 per cent of the products on the marketplace, according to the business, are priced under Rs. 1,000 to ensure affordability and accessibility for a large customer base.
