At the Bombay Exhibition Centre, Goregaon, and Jio World Convention Centre, BKC, on 23rd July, Seerna Rajamouli of R S Brothers, the top retail group in South India, officially opened the 79th National Garment Fair (NGF) 2024, which is being organised by the Clothing Manufacturers Association of India (CMAI). Attendees included industry leaders, apparel manufacturers, retailers, distributors, and key industry players.
From 23rd to 26th July, 2024, the 79th NGF will feature over 1300 apparel brands in an impressive 1 million square feet of exhibition space divided between two venues: Kids Wear at the Jio Convention Centre, BKC, and Men’s Wear, Women’s Wear, and Accessories at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, Goregaon. The event will feature a wide variety of collections for the largest gathering of Indian retailers and distributors.
Among the office bearers and managing committee members in attendance at the inauguration were CMAI dignitaries Anand Choksi, Jt. Chairman of the NGF, Rahul Mehta, Chief Mentor, Santosh Katariya, Hon. General Secretary, and Vice President and Chairman of the NGF, Rohit Munjal.
Speaking about the domestic apparel market, Rajesh Masand, President, CMAI, said, “The apparel industry is optimistic about the upcoming festive season. Along with showcasing the vibrant and diverse offerings of apparel brands, the National Garment Fair highlights the industry’s resilience after a tepid demand since last two years.”
