Manish Arora, an Indian designer, opened his first solo exhibition in the United States at Scad Fash in Atlanta, Georgia. The exhibition, which features pieces from his bright designs over the years, recalls his colourful journey in fashion.
“Scad Fash invites you to wonder among the colourful world of Manish Arora to experience the designer’s three favorite emotions, ‘happiness, joy, and celebration,’ key components in making life beautiful,” announced the fashion gallery on Facebook.
Arora’s first museum exhibition, Life Is Beautiful, features more than 100 daring creations from his runway collections, unique partnerships, and looks worn by a global clientele of celebrities ranging from Bollywood to Hollywood.
The pieces on exhibit showcase his distinctive style, which combines Western patterns and eclectic themes with Indian handicraft methods including beading, appliqué, and hand embroidered with a burst of colour.
Arora established his namesake label in 1997 after graduating from the National Institute of Fashion Technology in New Delhi. His vivid collections and fanciful designs earned immediate international attention.
