In an effort to expand throughout the entire nation, Sportking, an Indian textile company with vertical integration, recently unveiled its first e-commerce site. Prior to this, the brand was well-established in Punjab, Jammu & Kashmir, and Haryana. With this e-commerce launch, the brand—which has more than 100 locations in these states—is aiming to reach clients throughout the entirety of India.
Sportking uses algorithms and technical innovations such as Google My Business or other AI-powered technologies to personalise product recommendations and provide a smoother, more enjoyable customer experience. The company has grown to be a major player in the Indian textile sector, with an annual revenue of between Rs. 2500 crore and Rs. 3000 crore.
“For 27 years, Sportking has established a deep connection with communities in North India,” said Munish Avasthi, Managing Director of Sportking. “Our commitment to quality and affordability has positioned us as a mass-premium brand, and we are excited to bring that value proposition to a wider audience through e-commerce.”
