The International Labour Organization (ILO) with the support of the Government of Bangladesh and the Government of Norway will launch a weekly Bangla-language radio show for workers titled –‘My Labour, My Rights’ to help create better understand of rights and responsibilities in the workplace. The weekly, one-hour radio talk show will be launched on Radio Today starting 4 September 2015. In all, 16 episodes of the show are scheduled to be broadcast, each Friday at 5:00 PM. The main target audience of these radio discussion programmes is workers, supervisors and factory-level managers. This radio show will mainly focus on export-orientated sectors such as readymade garments, shrimp processing, shoes and leather. However, the majority of the issues to be covered are equally relevant to all sectors.
