The S296-2 model offers a high level of flexibility and efficiency in knitting a wide range of yarns – cotton and synthetic – producing different weights and fabric structures with spandex plating,” explained Peter Schuring, Managing Director of Terrot.
The machine displayed was of 34″ diameter in gauge E28 with 109 feeders and two needle tracks for knitting single jersey. “Advanced central and individual stitch adjustment is possible with a more precise scale unit which enhances accurate stitch adjustment while the knitting head has also been completely re-engineered with a convertible, low-cost new cylinder needle. The redesigned knitting head is equipped with positive needle guidance in the cam curve – needles are guided smoothly for less wear and tear at high machine speeds. The model also features wear-resistant zirconium yarn carriers with spandex rolls for perfect plating, preventing fluff accumulations,” Peter further added.
